That game wasn't good enough, fam. There were some positives that we all saw and there are a dozen threads on it. But that was a terrible second half.
1. GT w/out 3 of their best players.
2. GT gameplan and play calling was dreadful. Just, neolithic era football.
3. GT execution was terrible.
4. Dropped balls by GT a couple of times. Yeah, it happens but those were killers. And the kids were wide open.
5. This is a poor GT team. They'll finish at the bottom of the coastal. And we're hanging on by a thread in the last seconds.
Watson gets full marks for scoring 21 points in the 1st half. That's great.
1. 3 points in the 2nd half against a pretty lousy defense is unacceptable. Period. The man gets paid to coach a full game, not a half.
2. Rolling KP left constantly is stupid. Stop it. Very low percentage play.
3. Marshall was their whole offense. 100%. Put 2 spies on him if GT is going to play that uncreative.
4. Why didn't we continue pounding the run? It was working. We were ahead. Stupid trick play after the turnover. You just can't make that mistake. You can't.
5. The DB's are still confused. A good passing team will shred them if the DL doesn't get to the QB.
6. 3 weeks in a row where we don't adjust at halftime and the other team does. Unacceptable. Game should have been over by the end of Q3.

2. Refereeing was terrible. An "F." Every week. Blatant pass interference on the one. The facemark wasn't a facemark. There's no need to call that there.
