Pinnock has been a little shaky in the middle third of this year and he had a rough start to the game last night. My guess is he has also had a nagging injury since the UCF game. But late in the game he was absolutely lockdown. They targeted him 5+ times and he was wasn't allowing a catch come hell or high water and he did well over the slot as well.

He showed his athleticism and used his length to his advantage on those jump balls and him chasing that running back down from 15 yards behind him was a huuuuge play as the defense went on to hold unc to a field goal on that drive.

Other shout outs-
•Twyman is a monster
•Pickett, more of good pickett please
•Alexandre, maybe set a record for times held against in a game and still got some production
•Bright made some big plays on the edge
•Shocky had his coming out party. He can be the big play guy pitt has desperately needed
•Wayne looks like he can be a solid receiver throughout his career
•Whipple called a great game
•Aj Davis.. he doesn't look that strong or that fast but he just kind of bounces off tackles and has pretty good balance. His stats weren't that impressive but he ran well in my opinion.

Concerns-
•Obviously next year is next year, but they need to find a replacement for Hamlin. If i have to watch the boundary safety get abused all day every day like i did for the first 4 years under Narduzzi ill go insane. I think Hallett has some talent but he needs to get up to speed there because we all know they won't do anything schematically to help him out.
•Tackling. For the love of all that is good in this world, PLEASE start tackling better. This has been a consistent issue when teams actually attempt to run the ball against pitt's defense.
•The drops and penalties ain't goin away so im done complaining about them. Its best we just accept it.
