Our group is leaving PITTsburgh tomorrow morning around 6:00am so we should be in the Big Apple by 12:00 baring traffic on the GW. The weather report is good for the next 3 days!

We are hitting up Time Sq tomorrow and then Carolines at night!

Hail to Pitt and the Big Apple!

Better call ahead to see if Christie is allowing traffic to cross his bridge.

Are you sure you mean Carolines and not Ricks? :)

Leaving Wednesday at 3 am. Going to be a long day. Went to find Pitt throwback stuff but there is none left. So it looks like I will donning my late 90s torch cut, dinocat gear.

Hope everyone has a great time at the Pinstripe Bowl... Could not make the trip this year... but doing the second best thing... Game watching in Oakland (probably Peters Pub), and walking up the hill for the Panther Bball game after the bowl.. So, get to support two Pitt teams in less than 6 hrs....

Weather is going to be nice for late Dec. on Wednesday. Looking forward to donning my Hynoski jersey and rubbing elbows with fellow Pitt fans at Billy's, Yankee Tavern, Dugout. Any other places for pre/post game drinks right by the Stadium?

Aren't we the home team as we have the better record?

Pitt used its blue helmet for Pinstripe Bowl media day photo ops and with the fact the Yankees have blue hats, it seems like it would make sense to go blue.

As for the home/away thing, I am sure it is a pre-determined rotation with the ACC home one year, the Big Ten the next.

We're leaving Central PA at 7:00. ETA 11-11:30. Has anyone ever been to the Court Deli? That's the plan for lunch.

For all you Pittburghers visiting NY be aware of the fake homeless people scam. In many cases its a business and a very profitable one.
When I started visiting my companies NY headquarters I was out for lunch on a walk with my boss the CFO and he showed me something.
He walked us by a homeless guy with a sign printed up in block letters he said note the sign, we walked a bit further another guy same sign, and further another woman same block letters. In a lot of cases its a big cash business.

Sometimes the signs are written in a legible scribble but you'll see a bunch that all look the same.
American ingenuity at work! A great cash business!
