Pitt +12.5

We usually lose by double digits at Louisville, so I definitely would not call it a gift.
Mack teams do not play Pitino pressure. Mack teams do not have 7-0 rim protectors either.

Those things led to those double digit losses.

We couldn’t get the ball up the court. When we did, we couldn’t score at the rim.

I got Duke at +425 to make the FF in November. Now at +165, I just think Paolo is that dude , CBB is extremely weak right now + the Coach K farewell factor
I was thinking the same thing, but didn’t put any money on that one. Games have already been getting moved around and guys missing games. I figure it will continue to happen and being off to a 4-0 start is a nice place to be with those odds. I can always hedge the bet on other teams later in the year if need be.

Hell yeah

How can a team that got hammered by Dayton and struggled to beat Florida Atlantic, North Texas, Penn State and Fordham all the sudden get so good?

The ACC is so bad. I'm telling you go find some of the A10's "good years." That's the ACC this year.

Pomeroy has 21 years worth of rankings on his site. The best year of the A10 over that stretch is still considerably worse than the ACC is this year.

You have to take into consideration how bad the bad teams in the A10 are every year. In their best season ever by Pomeroy, 2013-2014, the A10 still had a 10-21 Fordham team, an 11-20 George Mason team and a 13-17 Duquesne team that were every bit as bad as we are this year.

If not for Duke and Carolina, this conference would be basketball's version of football's big 12. Even Duke and Carolina are watered down versions of their normal teams. This conference has sunk to abysmal levels. I wonder if even four teams will make the dance? It is really quite sad, this conference was easily top dog not long ago.
