It confirms what we all knew that this team was good and could go on a run in March.
Ranked 9th in the country since March 1st, with Auburn in front of them (eliminated) could have been Elite 8 team?
JK I know, but still was surprised to see that because even during our win streaks we never reached those kinds of heights (for example we were 25th during our win streak from Jan 31st to Feb 17).
The way we played down the stretch combined with the performance of ACC teams in the tourney pushed us incredibly high.
Hopefully, the team can use this as fuel for next year and for retention / building the rest of the roster.
This core (mostly the 3 guards) has a chance to deliver a very special season if we can carry that momentum.
