i think Pitt is doing itself a disservice the way it handles the media with the football team.
Narduzzi gives a 5 minute summary of practice with little or no viewing of the practice. All the articles based on Pitt in all the media is taken from those small snippets.
Pitt officials need to understand that Pitt football is the stepchild to the Steelers, Pirates and soon Penquins.
Pitt needs all the coverage it can get.
Allowing the media in during practice is not going to jeopardize Pitt's ability to beat Notre Dame. I just don't buy it. I realize most coaches seem paranoid but Pitt needs the publicity.
Narduzzi seems to be more than capable in dealing with the media. He needs to understand that this is not East Lansing where there is no other stories.
