...when will Pitt have updated apparel for the approaching football and basketball seasons? As in, new designs knit caps, hooded sweatshirts, etc. I'm looking forward to see what's available this year. Or, has it already been unveiled? Thanks in advance...

Doesn't seem like they are. It seems like maybe the Nike contract didn't call for any uniform or logo changes until next year so I think they're just going to try to sell what they have of the block Pitt this year before unveiling the new uniforms and apparel around Spring Ball

I really just want a new knit cap and hoody. I don't mind which logo's employed so long as the overall design's good enough. The current product is subpar. Maybe I'll check the Pitt store at The Pete soon to see if anything changed recently.

I was there recently (The Pete) and i asked that question. They told me new gear will be ready for the first home game. I dont know if that means everything or just a few items but they did say for the first game.

I just hope they give us some real clothing options at some point. The Pitt polo and button down options out there are pathetic. I'm not going to dress like a homeless person or adolescent skater kid in order to rep Pitt.

Judging from the lame gear they keep showing the coaches wear on this site's homepage...I wouldn't hold my breath. They keep mixing and matching block PITT with script PITT

I'd love to get the script and even some actual throwback, but I will settle for anything of decent quality with a couple of patterns and choices in clothes that can be worn outside of the gym.
