Vader’s post game - Horton had confidence in first half. He pooped at halftime and lost all confidence.
When I first read that I thought wait, when were we up by 8? Because that's usually what it means to say we had a chance to go up by 10, when you are up 8 with the ball.
He sure as hell isn't a 2 either.
I think the trajectory on Burton's shot makes hitting something like that virtually impossible.

We played better than I thought we would in this game. But at the end of the day we are 5-9 (0-3) in conference.
The part where you said we had a chance for a 10 point lead. We were never ahead by 8, or even 7, with the ball. So we never had a chance at a 10 point lead.
Unless you go into this well, if we had made a bunch of shots that we missed while they did the exact same thing that they did then this completely different thing would, not might, would have happened.
I mean hey, Pitt missed 14 threes tonight. So instead of being down three there at the end they had a chance to be up by 36, right?
Also at the end of this day…we are 19-74 in our last 93 ACC games! Brick by brick!
Not sure this makes sense, but what I feel.... They play ugly but seem to be able to get the other team to play ugly, which keeps the games closer than they should be.
I honestly think we are such a gigantic laughing stock that pretty much every opponent comes in taking us lightly, and another “honestly” I honestly think we look like we’re “playing ugly” because we absolutely blow
Bash everyone you want too , but this team is surprising competitive. Nice if they could pull off a few close wins .

Louisville had a guy in Ellis that came off the bench and took over the game. That was the difference. Tough loss

I think Louisville & Notre Dame took the intensity up a notch in the last 5 minutes. I don't want to say they took Pitt lightly, but I don't think Pitt got their best effort either.
Pitt is better than a laughing stock. They are capable of winning several games in this league.
Agree. He made all the shots to keep them in when it was close as well as give them the lead. He averages 6.5 a game, and his shot is ugly, but, he is the reason we lost this game. This team is going to need a little luck to win some games. Having a bench player come in and take over a game in the 2nd half, is luck, but, if your the opposing team it is bad luck.
Agreed, this mighty ducks kumbuya my lord can only last so long if we keep coming up short on these.

Last year there was a little something to dive from. This year if there’s a nosedive it won’t be all that far to fall. Dragged by some bums in the OOC schedule and 0fer so far in conference.
