Stanford volleyball leaps Wisconsin, Kentucky checks into Week 12 Power 10

A crazy week meant lots of shuffling in the Week 12 power rankings. Stanford wins big against Oregon to claim the No. 2 spot, Wisconsin falls to No. 3 after losing to an unranked opponent and Kentucky makes an appearance in the top 10.

I've felt like a #1 seed was a long shot, but a win over Louisville probably would put us on track for it. Just one more reason to be excited for Saturday.

I think you worded that right....and to be clear....the selection committee will weigh the RPI ahead of national rankings. It's irritating that Pitt dominates GT on their home floor and doesn't budge in the rankings. Not a big deal because Pitt went from an RPI of #6 to #4 this week leapfrogging both Wisconsin (#5) and Texas (#6). If Pitt beats Louisville their RPI will go to at least #3. I'm feeling better about Pitt being in control of their own destiny.

I believe GT was Pitt's first top ten win. If they beat Louisville, that's number two and they're peaking at the perfect time. Would be pretty wild if Pitt wins out, gets a one seed, but doesn't win the ACC because of FSU's relatively weaker schedule.
