This will be my third game of 2025 that I’ll be attending (Louisville and at Wake). Not sure why I’m deciding to continue to torture myself, probably more to see a game at unc as I work my way through the league arenas and stadiums.
Any chance we right the ship or is this season going to go down in flames similar to Pitt football and the Steelers?
I don’t want to sound pessimistic but this unit doesn’t feel like a bunch of close teammates that can come together. I’m tired of seeing Dunn or ish or Lowe trying to go one on one and make a low percentage shot. It feels closer to the days of Xavier, mcgowens and Toney than the last few years.
The lack of any inside rebounding presence and second chance opportunities is infuriating.
I thought it was interesting how the announcers on Monday could tell during practice which team was and wasn’t going to play well. That’s on capel.
This is going to be a really tough game after unc got blown out last weekend and has had the whole week off the stew on the loss to Duke and practice. We got lucky at home last week to come back and beat them. This will be a tall order.
Ok. Enough negativity. I’m headed to the game. Hopefully to see a win and our panthers hustle a little more and shoot a little better. Keys to the game in my book are rebounding, better shooting and passing on offense and don’t get blown out in the first five minutes. Be prepared at the start. Go panthers!
