Pitt Basketball Game Thread vs Radford: All Gas, No Brakes

Haven't been this excited going into a season in quite some time. Let's Go Pitt!!! 🏀 🏀🏀
He's been fine.
Only shot I didnt like was the 3 he took and the fadeaway by Lowe.
Lead is now 7
Defense pretty good thus far, 1 weak closeout by Guillermo
Pushed the Gas down to finish that half.
18 point lead, Radford zero buckets the last 8 minutes.
-We are +1 in rebound margin. Austin and Dunn have a combined 0 rebounds. Common guys, you are seniors for pete sake, hit the glass and stop watching Leggett all day long on the glass. Get scrappy and get in there.
3 pretty unlucky breaks that gave Radford 3 of their baskets, but it happens.
Radford shooting 33% from the field and 18% from 3 and we forced 9 turnovers. Thats big time defense in the first half.
Pretty solid half from Guillermo besides 1 weak closeout from 3 and the unlucky tip in on defense.
2nd half
I really want to see Corhen and Cummings get going on offense. I want to see more passing and less 1 on 1 play. We need more assists and better / more team passing.
Speaking of Cummings, he was +21 in the first half, best on the team.
I want to see more dribble penetration with shots in the interior or dumps to Corhen or kickouts from 3. We shot 3-10 in the first half from 3.
I want to see this team gang rebound in the 2nd half. Radford had more offensive rebounds than we did. We played solid, but we better be better on the glass moving forward.
We need to Leave no doubt and finish them and win by 30-35+ points.

It may be wise to get Cummings more minutes here because after what I have been watching Lowe is likely gone after this year. He's been unstoppable in this game.
What I been saying about Beebah? NBA. No, not this year or next year. But he will play in the NBA. As complete a player as there is for a non-Micky D's Frosh
It’ll be fun watching him grow. This might be the best quartet of guards at Pitt in a long, long time.
Kinda stinks the walk-ons didnt get in but the stupid way that NET is, that last minute has just as much value as a minute vs Duke. Every possession counts the same.
Kanye and Ndiaye who I never thought would play got in? Reminded me of a Dixon game. Slow start vs bad team. Run to end first half. Run to start second half. Much more well rounded and less reliant on 3.
Found their groove toward the end of the first half and never looked back .
