The Sun Bowl is one we have no chance to go to. There have only been 2 played since we were last there and those locals want different teams.
If we win, Pinstripe takes us or Syr.
If we lose, probably Annapolis
I kind of hope we play in the Military Bowl. Unfortunately, I think that and winning tomorrow are mutually exclusive.
Lyke was supposedly talking to Sun Bowl reps at the Duke game, which may not mean anything. Kind of funny that, after last season, we would be showing up there with an anemic offense again. Doesn't Duke have a pretty big contingent in NYC? Maybe the Pinstripe would want them.
They have bandwagon basketball fans, yes. There are 13 Duke football fans in NYC. I think the Pinstripe takes Syracuse if they beat BC and maybe even if they dont. My money is on Annapolis

There have probably been reps from all the bowls that we might get picked for at several different games. I mean if you are a bowl rep, what on earth do you have to do with your time other than to fly around to various college football games and schmoozing free food and drinks.
I don't care about a bowl right now. We have to beat Miami.
Florida is a hot recruiting bed for us. Wanny was able to get the Miami/Florida kids because of his coaching days with the Dolphins.

I believe Duke played in the Pinstripe or one of the other NE bowls when the ACC had more bowl qualifiers than bowls. They got picked by emphasizing their large base of successful alumni in the New York area. Then, they sold less than 100 tickets ftom their allotment.
Bostick just said on his show there is no chance for Fenway as it interferes with finals . I like military bowl . And remember you may see any number of players opt out
They showed last years Miami game on ACCN on Thanksgiving. Flipped over for a little and watched. Man, the offense was fun. Couldn't stop that stupid wide receiver screen. Miami out "athleted" us that game. Still it was there for the taking. Lost Mack for the year that day. And Pickett to Addison was something special.

Pretty much the only big mistake Kenny made all season last year was that INT on the last drive against Miami.

If that ultimately turns out to be correct, Pitt would be about a 10-point underdog if Sagarin's computer has its rankings right. And that probably would result in a fully disappointing end of season for an 8-5 final record.
Well at least the weather should be nice in San Diego for those who would travel to the game.

On the flip and glass half full side, a win would assuredly give us an AP top 25 ranking and I think our season could be considered a moderate success.
He was right on Fenway. Probably right on the Rose. Pitt in the Holiday makes sense. He had UNC in the Holiday and us in the Gator but I would imagine that both the Gator and Holiday would prefer UNC and that UNC would prefer the Gator. This leaves the Holiday Bowl to decide between Pitt, Duke, Wake, Syr. Kind of an easy choice.
If we can bring Cristobal back to Oregon to lead the Ducks bowl prep, we might stand a chance.
No its not. How many southern bowl games have we even played in the last 30 years? Southern bowls dont take Pitt unless they have to (Birmingham, Charlotte).
