Obviously, Big Priority For Pitt's Coaching Defensive Staffs and the most Articles out there mostly deal with DBs & QBs, quiet confidence is being shown on WRs, RBs, OLs, DLs, LBs, & TEs in that downward order based on I have read. If I read it, I share it, so Lair Posters provide their own insights. The Premium F&F Board Board Posters and Peak know far more if one wants more info with insights far more accurate than some Media. Clearly, the Coaches themselves have yet to determine how to use some Players and whether it work until they see executions at QBs in throwing and adapting to Watson's OC, and Pitt's DC choosing to to stop the runs or cover the passes on Defense? Those are the Question Marks and not sure Answers are there until we see in August and September?
EXCERPT:

While Pitt progresses through the final days of spring practice — Thursday was No. 11 of 15 — it’s becoming clear that coaches will have choices (maybe even some good ones) when piecing together the depth chart in the secondary. Perhaps the biggest decision will be where to play Jordan Whitehead, free or strong safety. The move to free may help coverage, but weaken the run defense. That’s what coaches are trying to determine now and will continue to explore over the summer and into training camp in August....................That’s a lot of names in bold for only two starting spots......Is At The Link & runs The Gambit From Seniors To Freshmen?

I've said before that Whitehead was the best option at FS and at SS the last two years, with the next best option not being very good at either. But now, I would think he is the best option at FS, with several guys who can play at SS who are aggressive, solid tacklers. Campbell, Garner, and Stocker gives them 3 good options there. I hope this of Whitehead of FS shift happens.
