@ASlater247: #Pitt will be coming in to see 6'9" Cheick Diallo @cheick_diallo13 of OSNA (NY) & @PSACardinals today. Diallo is @247Sports #3 senior.

And the Hoiberg to Bulls train is really picking up steam. No word from Hoiberg's side that I've heard but sounds like the Bulls are gonna come hard for him.

If Hoiberg goes to the NBA, we should hire that NYC recruiting ace he has, which would guarantee Diallo.

I would suggest that it wouldn't even take that.

I agree, problem is that Abdelmassih actually met Hoiberg when they were both working in the NBA. The 2 have been together every step of the way since then. I would imagine he would follow Hoiberg to the NBA, especially since he already has experience there.

Hmm. I just hope they somehow get a commit from him. When do we likely know? While college football has a very obvious signing day, I'm always a bit confused with the deadlines in college hoops.

It's been said on here before that Diallo and his coach want to find the best possible fit for Diallo and his style with early playing time being extremely unimportant.

Jamie and Brandin have a whole hell of a lot to sell with the immediate opening at the 5 along with Pitt's history of working well with big men.

The biggest obstacle will be getting ISU's Hoiberg to leave for the NBA (which is heavily rumored) as ISU has seemed to be the leader for a while.

Damon has been working him and having those 2, at least 1 more recruit, and Nix coming off of the bench could pay off very well in the 15-16 season.

It's an uphill battle but we are probably in the best spot that we've been in since Diallo's recruitment started.

I just have a feeling that when push comes to shove, in comes Slice and Cal and UK gets another one.

Just gotta hope that if Skal Labissiere winds up being ineligible, his handler bled Cal out of most of his slush fund for 2015 during the recruiting process.

There's an actual limit on the slush fund?
