The Pitt coaches are on the road, and here's what we've got confirmed for today so far:

- The big visits for Monday will be in Kentucky, where receivers coach Kevin Sherman will be checking in on a pair of top targets: four-star cornerback Jairus Brents and three-star receiver Rondale Moore. Both guys have been under-the-radar targets for Pitt throughout the recruiting cycle and Moore is committed to Texas, but Pitt has their interest. The goal now is to get them on campus for official visits, and I suspect Sherman is hoping to get some visits scheduled today.

- Offensive coordinator Shawn Watson and tight ends coach Tim Salem will be in New Jersey today for a pair of visits with Pitt commits Nick Patti and Matt Alaimo. Those two guys are committed, obviously, but I think these are important visits because both have heard from other schools throughout the summer and fall. I don't think Patti has picked up any other offers, but I wouldn't be surprised to hear that Alaimo has drawn the interest of more schools; I think he might be one of the most underrated recruits in the class and a kid who is definitely on the radar for other schools.

That said, I believe both Patti and Alaimo are solid with Pitt. They'll be on campus the weekend of Dec. 8-10 and both intend to sign in the early signing period that starts on Dec. 20.

- Charlie Partridge and Andre Powell will be teamed up on Monday, too, as the defensive line coach and the running backs coach will be in Maryland to visit DeMatha standouts/Pitt commits John Morgan and Judson Tallandier. Powell is also Pitt's Maryland recruiter, so I'm sure he'll hit a couple schools today and possibly tomorrow, but the focus will be on the two commits.

Morgan and Tallandier will be back on campus this weekend for their official visits.

- Also on Monday, linebackers coach Rob Harley will head down to Virginia to visit with linebacker commit Wendell Davis. Davis will be on the Dec. 8-10 official visit weekend with Patti, Alaimo, Cameron O'Neil and Jatavious Harris, among others.

- That's what we have confirmed so far. As always this time of year, info will come out as the day goes on, so stay tuned.
