Yeah, they haven’t played an ACC conference game yet, along with 2 or 3 other schools. They all still control their own destiny.
A few others that have already played a conference game or two also still control their own destiny.
One at a time, next up GT.
Has some very impressive athletes.
Pitt better be ready to tackle. Pad level, with force and wrap them up.
UNC did a lot of vertical reaching.
Before this game, I wanted their old QB. thought he was mistake prone. He played very well last night.
Hoping he is due the 3 turnover game Kenny had after Tenn. Hoping Tech is in the same mental state we were after our big Tenn win and play as we did versus W.Mich.
Yes, that would be true even if they lost yesterday.
when did the winning the national championship cease to be a goal for Pitt football?...because it ain't "out there"
If we win out yes it is! Take a hike!when did the winning the national championship cease to be a goal for Pitt football?...because it ain't "out there"
When? IDK an exact year but it's been clear for a while.when did the winning the national championship cease to be a goal for Pitt football?...because it ain't "out there"
While still potentially possible, it is not a control it’s own destiny scenario at this point of time.If we win out yes it is! Take a hike!
How in the hell do you know! You have no idea what is going to happen in every game but if Pitt wins every game they play for the rest of the season and post season.... they can achieve any goal! While still potentially possible, it is not a control it’s own destiny scenario at this point of time.
I didn’t say it wasn’t possible, just that they don’t control their destiny. How in the hell do you know! You have no idea what is going to happen in every game but if Pitt wins every game they play for the rest of the season and post season.... they can achieve any goal!
Yes this weekend has a lot of interesting competition for the top 10. 1 Alabama vs. 12 Ole Miss, 2 Georgia vs 8 Arkansas, 7 Cincy vs. 9 ND, 3 Oregon at Stanford, which has had some decent wins and competitive losses. PedState vs Indiana. Iowa at competitive Maryland. Underwhelming Oklahoma at KSU. Florida at Kentucky. Get a few upsets or hopefully chaos and makes the whole season more interesting for a lot of folks.
You are right in that need help by teams losing so they can't control the NC by just winning out. 40 posts in 12 years ....hmmmm wonder who else you are or where you been. You a Pitt fan?I didn’t say it wasn’t possible, just that they don’t control their destiny.
As long as someone from the SEC, Big 12, Pac-12, B1G, and ND (and possibly Cincy) remain unbeaten, there would be nothing Pitt could do about it.
Do you understand the concept of control your destiny?
Uh, no...it is not..Losing to a MAC team and coming from the worst power 5 conference this year make it so. A one loss (to Georgia--not WMU) Clemson team would have been on the bubble. Pitt comes out of the slop that is the ACC with a loss to a MAC team at home as one of the top 4 in the land? That ant ain't moving that rubber tree plant no matter how high his hopes are.....No need to take a hike when simply stating a reality..Save the exclamation points. If we win out yes it is! Take a hike!
