Stop acting like little kids. You have 2 options.

1.) pretend like tonight didn't happen for PSU and don't post about jt
2.) man up and give them the respect they deserve.

All you posters are quick to bash players etc for not respecting the game or their opponent (like when teams didn't want to accept silver and left their medals on the field/court), but your not man enough to give the team to the east credit. Don't be like them, be an adult.

Concur, it is a great win for Penn State and nothing wrong in congratulating them.:):p:D:cool::rolleyes:

Those Psu Players played their hearts out and bushwhacked the Buckeyes, and MSU & IOWA too, and go 10-2.:):D

I would love to see Pitt do that to VT, MIAMI & CLEMSON and go 10-2 too.:D:rolleyes::cool:

WVU do the Same to OKSU, OU, TEXAS BAYLOR and go 12-0!
:p:rolleyes::D

I give them credit. They seized the moment, came back with 17 unanswered, and beat the #2 team. Yes, I know, OSU got the worst of the officiating, including the last PI non-call, but, the fact of the matter is they beat a good team and JF finally got his signature win. Make no mistake, that game was big for PSU football, and they will parlay that into recruiting, and excitement for the rest of the year.

Exactly
Yes-- conditions, the field conditions , tOSU rather poor play but STATE took advantage of it....

And Barkley is big time.....and the way they handled the final Buck possession was impressive.
They're recruiting the heck out of it and it's starting to hit the field.
Last night only makes that better.
Like it or STATE is on its way back

Yes, giving them credit, despite what one feels of the scandal or whatever PSU, is, IMO, just a reasonable and rational way to look at it. It takes nothing away from our love of Pitt. No doubt it was a big win for their program, and I'm sure if Pitt was in that position, we would hope people would credit our team.

PSU, WVU, and Pitt getting big wins and remaining relevant nationally is a good thing, provided we beat the other two every year.

That was a really good win for them and nice to see their process panning out, it makes me more excited to see ours play out as well. So let's pound Vtech and keep rolling! that's enough about psu. H2P BABY!!!!!!!!

Penn State Football is BACK!

I am out today doing the Fall Festival thing and PSU fans are everywhere and they are giddy.

I heard one PSU fan say to another PSU fan that he didnt know and was just walking by him: "We finally beat Ohio State." The guy responded. "I guess that means we are the best team in 2 states." WTF kind of bizarre comment is that? I was standing right there with a Pitt shirt. I so wanted to say like. "Uh, September 10?"

As I type this, my non-alum PSU fan uncle texts me and says PSU will win the NC next year. Well, you know they are the youngest team in the country and if they finish 10-2 they easily start next year in the Top 10.

I know I like hyperbole but that win was the most meaningful to any individual program all year, maybe in a few years. It literally woke up a program that is the textbook definition of a sleeping giant.

Yep you're right.

I think it's kinda lame to just randomly be like "42-39"! unless PSU fans make bizarre statements like that... then it's totally justified. I just wish Pitt actually put them away and didn't make it so nerve wracking in the end.

I give them all the credit in the world. But am I permitted to also wonder how the great tOSU O Line couldn't handle a defense that Pitt layed 42 points on? Am I also permitted to suggest the Buckeyes along with the entire Big 10 is over rated?

Thanks in advance
