Many Pitt Posters and Fans can be done on Pitt at this time, but not me. I really respect and admire coach Pat Narduzzi on how he is developing his Team his Way and is the Perfect Fit for Pitt, in my view. It is how he just carries himself, how he has his players focused on classrooms, football, film room, and few off the field problems. The quote below show it and it is bravado, he believes in what he says, and he lives it by example. Others are free to disagree, but I won't change my mind, and accept they differ. Dr. Sutherland said, to be the come the Best a Team must play against the Best, the Clemson game will show all of Pitt how far Pitt has come, and how much farther Pitt must go, I welcome the mighty challenge of Clemson and at Clemson!

............................No. 3 Clemson will be an accurate gauge on how much ground needs to be covered. “Everybody can talk a big game and say where they want to be in three years or where the program wants to be in five years,” sophomore offensive tackle Brian O'Neill said. “This is a good benchmark about where we are and how far off we are from being at that ultimate goal. “I know our guys in the O-line room couldn't be more excited to see how we play against the best.”..........Pitt hasn't played a team ranked this high since 2007 when the Panthers defeated West Virginia, 13-9, while the Mountaineers were second in the AP and No. 1 in the coaches poll. That was such a long time ago that Pitt coach Pat Narduzzi was in his first season as Michigan State's defensive coordinator. Narduzzi understands Pitt's journey will be a long one, but he said catching up to schools such as Clemson in all phases — championships, recruiting and national perception — can be done. “Little by little,” he said when asked how Pitt can compete with the best programs in the nation. “You're not going to get there overnight, and we know that. You know, they've got some good players. They've recruited some of the top players in the country. “But you know what? Right there in the chest cavity, guys that go out and play with heart and get after it and give you everything they've got, have a chance. “You slowly peck at that and try to become the best football team you can.”....................
O'Neill disagreed when a reporter used the word “problem” to describe what lies ahead for Pitt. “They have big guys up front and some guys who can really move,” he said. “If you're a competitor you want to play against the best, and this is by far the best defensive line we (will have) played against. “It's more of an opportunity to do something very special on Saturday.”
