Thought I'd do a random Pitt football poll today as well.

Curious to see the results of this.

I'll make this short and sweet. I'd rather have Harris at this point. I was very optimistic about Narduzzi early on but not now. Not impressed with his coaching or recruiting. Walt obv wasn't great but he was able to bring a lot of nice talent to Pitt. Offense was fun. WR U. Defense definitely had its ups and downs.

Year 6 Narduzzi, nah give me Walt. Obv though now I don't want either of them, need someone completely new. But if I had to choose between the 2 early on I would have said Narduzzi but not now.

C'mon wasn't it cool being known as WR U? Lol.

Walt also had some pretty good running backs. Walt should always have a soft spot in panther fans considering what he inherited. But I got to give props to coach N in that he led the panthers to a win in Death Valley.

Walt gave us the QB slide on 3rd down. Pat gave us attempting a field goal on 4th and 1 on the 1 yard line down by 7 with 5 minutes left in the 4th quarter and no time outs. Two sides of the same turtling under pressure coin in my book.

When you compare competition, quality of wins, and quality of players, I would give the edge to Narduzzi.

Walt Harris ran the best vertical passing game in America. His use of "choice routes" was expertly engineered.

It was great seeing quality receivers heading to Pitt.

The problem became giving up 8 or 9 sacks in the big games late in his tenure. Nothing worse than getting manhandled up front. There were no signs that Walt and Freeman could correct it.

The OL hasn’t exactly been a strength for Narduzzi either. 2 seasons ago they were absolutely devastating as run blockers but not much else.

I seriously can't cast a vote because these two guys had different strengths and weaknesses which make them pretty even in my book.
