-For those that dont think putting Elite talent in the NFL doesnt matter, open your eyes up and take notice.

Keyshon Camp- "I want to challenge myself to reach Aaron Donald's level and do more."

George Hill- "What was Jordan Whitehead last year? ROY? That’s what I want to get."

Damar Hamlin- "I want to get to Darrelle Revis level in the NFL, the best DB in the game"

-Three of our prized recruits, all mention former Pitt players they want to push themselves to reach. Good luck to all 3 of these guys.

Great comments and you are a credit to the Lair and I very much enjoy you speaking your mind, postings good info, and supporting your opinions with good facts. Pitt was fortunate to bring in Chancellor Gallagher and Coach Pat Narduzzi and Pitt is in good hands with both now, good you and others bringing good topics to read about football on the Lair. Thank you!

i don't think too many people here disregard putting elite talent into the NFL, since pitt's great record at putting elite talent into the NFL is mentioned here at least twice a month. at least. it's basically at trope level.

-We have a strong offensive coordinator too that knows what he is doing.

I have no problem with you saying it, I am just cautious until I see it, and that is on me, with no disrespect to your own view.

It is has been a long long journey just waiting to see another Great Coach in Narduzzi choosing Pitt since Majors and Sherrill. I am forever grateful to UTenn & Bama in producing them! Same with that Youngstown Native whose Father, Family & Himself known as the Narduzzi!

Looking forward to those New Uniforms, Recruits, Players into Teams too as well as your postings.

Have a good look at it. This is what Pitt can potentially do with James Conner. There's Canada's offense

Thank you and I defer to your superior knowledge and backing it up with a Link for me to Think and learning is what I love to do from others on the Lair. Great Post!

-Expect to see the Wildcat this year too. Baylor destroyed Oklahoma State with it last year. Canada and Wisconsin destroyed Nebraska in the Big Ten Title with it. And we have massive speed ready to run it. We should dare other teams to stop our run game until it is proven it can be stopped. Canada is way better Chaney as an OC, its a borderline grand slam trade.

Love hearing this kind of talk. I have a good feeling about these three guys. Actually, I have a good feeling about quite a few of the new defensive players this year. There needs to be much improvement at CB, LB and DT this year and there should be. The team should be better at every position on that side of the ball. I am particularly excited to see our safeties and DEs in action.

A one-two punch of Conner and Ollison would be a thing of beauty.

Narduzzi mentioned that Canada was his first choice as OC (but was not available). I want to believe it's true. I want to believe Canada is and always was the right guy for the job. While he could have done worse, Pat certainly could have done better than Chaney. I have a feeling the Georgia job offer will prove to be a gift to PN and this team. Chaney's resume/record was okay but not overly impressive. His play calling during last season wasn't always a great fit for the players on the field and his laid back approach in running the offense never really meshed quite that well with Narduzzi.

There may be a little cause for concern on offense, though. While I want to believe Peterman is going to lead this team to more victories this season, I am not yet convinced that he is convinced he can do it. He needs to show he is a true leader who can stretch the field with these receivers and put up a lot of points. It's a bad sign if during Pitt's first post game interview this coming season, Peterman is saying things like, "I need to play better" or "We're going to need to find a way to score more points."

On the bright side, Pitt has a freshman QB coming in with great size and mobility who threw the ball very well his senior season in HS. I am very excited to see what MacVittie can do at the college level. I have a good feeling about him.

Let's get it done.

-For Ski and Dion to read, because those two dont get it.

Where do these recruits talk about all-time greats? You're the one who doesn't get it. I just can't decide if you're being deliberately obtuse or if you're just stupid.

-Nice insult. A nice try. But you dont offer any real opinion worth money on this board either, just like Dion fan.

Sorry dude. But you are just too into this stuff. That being said, I respect you because we need more fans like this, less jaded fans like me. I got your back. Trust me. No more cheap shots. We need fans like you.
