If Indiana, UCLA, Texas and Oklahoma State at 18-3 got in at decent seeding, and if Pitt would have gone 2-2 the last four games, they definitely would have made the tournament. All that bs speculation was just that in my opinion. Ugh.

Regardless ...

... it was certainly there for the taking, and we did not get it done.

Georgetown is a 4 seed at 21-10!

LMAO! But none of us really want to see Pitt in this tourney now do we? Pitt needs to focus on fixing their roster, as I said before a tournament visit would have given people the illusion that nothing is wrong with this team/its direction.

We all knew that our fate was in our own hands down the stretch and we did not get it done..... simple as that.

Yes ... it was not really a question as to whether they got in*

Pitt didbn't deserve to get in the tournament this year. But neither did some of the other teams selected, such as Ok.State, Indiana and UCLA.

I think if we can somehow draw some success from the NIT this year, at least it will be something to build on for next year. And hoping that our recruiting can pick up to bring in some quality.

the fact that those teams got in shows how badly we shat the bed. we need a 50/50 finish and to beat ncsu. we crapped out

It's fascinating to listen to the committee rep talk about the "eye test" and, with respect to UCLA, how they tracked them over the last month and felt they were coming on.

In other words, things they're *not* supposed to be doing. Total joke.

As much as I hated it Indiana cleaned our clock. Finished at 20 - 13, 9 - 9 B10
