Pitt got 2 votes in coaches poll

I would guess James Franklin and Deion Sanders
how far the once mighty Panthers of my youth have fallen in my lifetime such that two votes gets a WOW nowadays..
Part of it is that there are coaches that use their vote to advance an agenda. For instance it would not be surprising at all if our two points was Neal Brown voting us 24th, just so that if they win he can say "hey, we beat a Pitt team that got votes in the poll last week."
It would also not be a surprise if our two points was a 24th place vote from Pat Narduzzi. The fact that they allow coaches to vote for their own teams and they do not release the individual votes like the AP does makes shenanigans like that a lot more likely.
I mean when Steve Spurrier was at Florida and he admitted that he voted for Duke in the preseason poll every year, even when they were absolutely awful. And then people who didn't know that would look at that poll and think "hey, Duke got 10 points in the poll, maybe they'll be pretty good this year." And then they'd go 2-9.
