Which was the Tangerine Bowl in Orlando in 2001. Temple has had 2 Florida bowls in the last 5 years and Rutgers has had 2 Florida bowl games in the last 10 years.

They don't travel better than Pitt.

But that solution isn't universal to the ACC. They should have a tighter selection order like other conferences have.

And having better bowl tie-ins with better destinations wouldn’t hurt. Every year I tell my wife we’re going to the bowl if it’s in a warm weather location.

The Pin Stripe bowl was fun, but I’m ready for Pitt to play somewhere warm.

Correct. Pitt doesn't travel well enough to get a southern bowl game unless we win 10 games. 9 probably wouldnt do it. Heck, Annapolis and NYC passed on us this year for garbage teams from the state of North Carolina

Of those Florida Bowls the only decent one was the Russell Athletic Bowl now called the Camping World Bowl that Rutgers went to in 2012. The bowls in the Devil Rays Dome in St. Petersburg and the Boca Raton Bowl in FAU’s Stadium are garbage bowls played on weekdays before Xmas.

We don’t have it because Pitt finished 4-4 in conference , and is among the least desired acc teams in the pool.

I saw in the PG that the Military Bowl said they would be lucky to invite Pitt. I personally think the conference stepped in on behalf of UNC who should have went to Detroit. I also think the conference forced Pitt to accept this after forcing the Sun Bowl to take Pitt last year.
