I just looked up the result! Looks like they took it on the chin in the 3rd, then came back to finish it off in the 4th with an emphatic 25-13 win.

They got down big early in the 3rd and came roaring back but just couldn't get over the hump. Clearly better than VCU. Be interesting to see if they can push PSU.
I haven't seen PSU play and I'm sure they are ridiculously good, but I watched Pitt play some really sound volleyball against some solid teams, and I think they can. They are young, but they are talented and pretty deep. If they can play to their best, and not give away a bunch of points with unforced errors like they have, then they have a chance.
Besides being talented and deep, I think Fisher does a good job varying the attack and coming from multiple angles as well. I love how well they use the slide in both directions too.
Pitt may not win, but I'd be surprised if they got dominated.
Got an ACC trophy was huge and took another step winning a ncaa game but still kinda got hosed being sent to same bracket 2 years in a row.
