Pitt has the 12th longest Bowl eligibility streak in CFB. We were due for a down year. We were spoiled considering the mess of an administration we have running the show. All we can hope is that Lyke realized she's walked into a dumpster fire of a situation and pushes hard for dollars to spend on this program so her career doesn't tank.

Is playing in the Beef'O Brady bowl (or any of these smaller bowls) really an accomplishment? Pitt has yet to be in an ACC title game, and has only been in one BCS game in those 12 years (Fiesta is in this stretch I think).
No. The Fiesta is not in the streak. The streak is at 9 and starts with the 2008 team. ...Yes, the 3-0 loss to Oregon State in the Sun Bowl.
I don't think that being eligible with 6 wins is anything to be proud of. If it was bowl eligible with 8 wins, then it might be something to talk about. Besides, if you get in a bowl game with 6 wins, it's not a bowl game. It's an exhibition game.
Yep, 12th longest streak of having 6 or more wins in a season. Most seasons with 6 or 7 wins. That's below mediocre.
What this says is that all but 12 teams have had seasons WORSE than we have in that streatch.
So this year is no reason to jump off a bridge.
