Pitt hoops season starts now

Its great to great three wins against cupcakes but I consider those preseason games. Now Pitt has a tough stretch which takes them right into a conference matchup:

WVU 11/15
VMI 11/18 (ok another cupcake)
LSU 11/22 (Neutral)
Wisconsin/UCF (Neutral)
@ ohio st 11/29
@ miss st 12/4
@ Va tech 12/7

then a breather

What's everyone's thoughts on this stretch? Im thinking 4-3. Losing one of the Greenbriar games and 2 of 3 road games. 3-4 is quite possible too, losing all three road games

I'd be disappointed if we don't go at least 5-2 in this stretch.

This is why I always say the ACC needs to schedule 1-2 games really early to prepare teams for the non-con. The non-con is exponentially more important than conference games to the committee.

So what should the starting lineup be for the new season? Unpopular opinion, but I don’t want GDG starting. I haven’t seen enough of Bosnian, but would rather have him or Austin back in. If the 4 will take 8 3’s a game, at least Austin gives you solid d/arhleticism.

I love the confidence but at ohio st and at miss st will be very challenging. Va tech on the road is never an easy place for us to play either..

VT might have the worst roster in the ACC.
