Former WCU, Oklahoma QB Cole Gonzales commits to Pitt
Pitt has added a familiar face to the quarterbacks room in the form of former Western Carolina quarterback Cole Gonzales
Pitt has added a veteran quarterback with experience in OC Kade Bell's scheme. Cole Gonzales spent the spring with Oklahoma but re-entered the portal on Thursday and reunited with Bell.
He's a 6-0, 195lb signal caller who operated the offense well at the FCS level and gives the Panthers an experienced option to go with the inexperienced Julian Dugger and Mason Heintschel. The battle for backup will be interesting to watch this summer.
