I put these Headline Sources Links up just to augment information and for no other purpose. However, the Premium Board and Chris Peak always produce better Information. They know far more! Has I always see it, up to Pitt to improve and stabilize Pitt, no excuses and no fears, because of what I read Narduzzi & Staff doing it every day.

I have never seen the Players so disciplined, determined and focused to get better as Players & Teams. Pitt also has the ACC Income Revenues to keep it happening. Still, don't think it will happen because of the relationship Narduzzi has with Canada, but that is just my belief, we shall see?

Excerpts:
The news Pitt fans have been dreading came Sunday night when the Baton Rouge (La.) Advocate reported that offensive coordinator Matt Canada is among three serious candidates to get the same job with LSU.But there is no reason to panic — or start blaming Pitt administrators — because Canada is no lock for the LSU job and Pitt is making moves to keep him.

From reading the Baton Rouge article, its pretty clear Kiffin will be LSU's OC if he doesn't land a HC job. If Kiffin does land a HC job, Canada is their next choice.

Kiffin's talks with FAU stalled over money it seems but if FAU steps up, its still possible he gets that job. Right now, only the Temple and WKU jobs are open. Temple seems like a weird fit and I cant imagine the wife living in Bowling Green, KY.

Now with Pitt in the ACC just since 2013 in 3 years and Narduzzi a perfect fit for Pitt in 2015 in 2 years. There is a new Paradigm and Pitt Fans should get use to it. This New Pitt Paradigm includes a far different Pitt Program unlike before where struggling to win was beset with many unstable events, changes, and lack of resources.

Pitt now has a solid base of Coaching, Administration Priority Vision, and Budget Stability. This is far more important as a first step of establishing a Top 25 Program. Boosters & Fana are a By-Product of that support and always follows. Boosters will prevail as Fans are fickle but Rebuilding any Program always start with Coaching and support from the Chancellor's Vision.

The same has happen at WVU since it joined the Big-12 in 2012. It is far better for their bottom line, but brings real problems with dealing with the isolation of being 1,000 Miles away of any competitor. It was CoachRod Top 5 Winning that Rebuilt WVU Football Program with Booster Support by 10+ Games Winning, but he left. WVU's Oliver Luck's follow up kept WVU a Power 5 Conference Program. Both are gone now, and WVU will survive but with tougher obstacles in the Big-12 that will cause Coaching Challenges far more than Pitt in the ACC, in my opinion! Oklahoma and Texas have the Program Resources to always be a force in the Big-12.

Penn State also is dealing with the Precipices of the Paterno Legacy left over. Paterno's first Paradigm of change for Penn State was going into the Big Ten in 1993. Even Joe struggled at times in winning there. This assured growing Income Prosperity but it was at the expense of less Winning.

The Second Legacy was the Penn State Sanctions of Lack of Athletic Integrity Scandal in 1998 and 2011. This Scandal greatly damaged the Penn State Brand. However, the Penn State Program is still a Powerful Program and they owe that to Joe Paterno too. Any Coach as seen by O'Brien and now Franklin can win there with such Top 25 Program Resources. I have always admired it, to be fair. Nevertheless, the challenge for all Big Ten Programs not just Penn State is always Michigan & Ohio State. Those Programs don't sit still, with each other, and always countering to beat each other. Therefore, it is far harder for Penn State to overcome them in the Big Ten East, then Pitt in the ACC Coastal.

I have always followed all Three Programs & Teams and with one just a few Phone calls have mutual Colleagues, Boosters and Friends give me the true scoop. In fact, I do that more with PSU & WVU than Pitt since there are Posters on the Lair that know and follow Pitt far more, and have long ears in Shadyside if need be.

What needs to realized by Pitt Fans that things have greatly changed under Coach Narduzzi in the ACC Coastal. The same realizations are coming home to PSU & WVU Fans understanding that too.

Pitt is still rebuilding a Top 25 Team & developing a Top 25 Program doing it under coach Pat & Staff. While WVU & PSU are just having to rebuild Top 25 Teams and they have done it too in 2016.

PSU & WVU staying up with Ohio State, Oklahoma, Michigan, and Texas Teams and Programs is a far tougher challenge than Pitt in the ACC. Pitt has to take on only Virginia Tech as Top 25 Program in the ACC. As well as, Recruiting Heavy Miami Talent. FSU, ULou & Clemson are in the ACC Atlantic. This is a huge difference and advantage for Pitt over Wvu & Psu challenges? This is not a Guess, nor a Hunch, but a Reality.Pitt does not have to play FSU, ULou, and Clemson every year and can grow into more winning easier in the ACC Coastal.

The Old PSU Fans that think otherwise have been wrong since 1993 and WVU fans since 2012. The Smart PSU & WVU Boosters have told me they see much more of Paterno & CoachRod in Narduzzi than they see in Holgrosen and Franklin.

This is not a put down of Franklin or Holgrosen having a great year, but they do have the greater challenges in those conferences than Pitt in the ACC Coastal.

Even while Pitt is still Rebuilding a Top 25 Program like what happen in the 1970s. It will take more time than WVU & PSU, but Pitt is not facing Michigan, FSU, Oklahoma, Clemson, Ohio State, ULou, and Texas every year like WVU & PSU?

I am not worried nor fear what will happen at Pitt! I leave that to the Chicken Little's of the Past, but without a doubt there has been paradigms of changes and challenges at all 3 Programs! The Best & Brightest know and see it!

So.much for the notion that Pitt needs to open their checkbooks. Alabama OC looking to leave for a lateral move? LSU must be offering huge money

Temple has moved towards Eagles QB all of a sudden or may promote within. I still don't see Canada leaving coach Pat after only one year!

Saban doesn't want to work with Kiffen anymore. Ed O and Kiffen have history together, most likely Kiffen ends up LSU's OC next year.

I think they want Kiffin to move on sooner rather than later. They have Sarksian (spelling) waiting to take his place.

Panther Nation turns to Lane Kiffin to see what he's going to do. If he doesn't get a HC job, Canada is back at Pitt next year. Also, there is thought that Max Browne could follow Kiffin, who recruited him out of HS. Strange next season's fortune hinge on what Lane Kiffin does.

Sounds like they will likely take one of the Alabama guys, LK or SS.

I don't think we have anything to worry about yet, but this news has to put a kibosh on any recruits committing from this weekend (ie, Browne)

Football Scoop reporting Kiffin hired to FAU this morning.
-so if you are in the boat that thinks it was Kiffin or Canada, we're gonna be in the market for a new OC in the next 24 hours.

I suppose Barnes could get the OK to match any LSU offer (which pitt could certainly swing) but I'd say.... Canada can make LSU's offensive respectable, he can pick his HC job the following year. Conversely he could stay here, have another huge season and probably be in a very good HC spot too.

Figuring he'll get a raise either way, it's a matter of where you'd rather live etc.

They have too many alligators in Baton Rouge

Canada's agent is doing his job. If Barnes and company are serious, they'll make sure to get Canada paid or make him look like an ingrate on the way out.
Barnes & co haven't been serious in a while.
Have you checked out PITT basketball lately? I know you have.

Come on people......Do you really think Pitt can match what LSU would offer Canada?? Not happening unfortunately. We have to hope he decides to stay loyal to Narduzzi until a head job comes up.

Canada's stock is at its peak right now.
If he stays, his 2017 offense will be compared to his 2016 offense. That's a tough record to match while breaking in a new QB, replacing a stud RB and trying to filling some other positions. Impossible? No. Unlikely? Yes.
Should he leave, he will get a bit of a pass for his first year at LSU. The old "give him time to install his system" excuse if things don't match his 2016 Pitt offense.
LSU is a high profile program in a high profile conference. It's a launching pad for future head coaches. The $$$ will be outstanding. He would be foolish to turn it down, even if Pitt came close to matching the cash.
A possible interview, however, doesn't necessarily mean a job offer. If the offer doesn't come or it doesn't feel right, he will likely be back at Pitt.

Id worry about your own coach leaving, I imagine he makes quite a bit less.

That was simply Philly Inquire speculation. The Eagles QB coach is one John DiFilippo. Son of Gene DiFilippo, who as AD first at Villainova and next at Boston College, was a key figure in the Big East's long-standing membership embargo of Temple. Temple would sooner hire Osama Bin Laden Jr.

What do you think is their next move? Promote within? Strong is gone. I like UTenn Shoop but don't know if he is on the lists! If you could for Temple whom would you choose?
