Pitt was being no hit into the eighth inning, when after two outs Pitt got it's only three hits of the game on a Vranka double, a Vazquez run scoring triple and a Roche run scoring single to give Pitt a 2-1 lead. BC won the game in the bottom of the ninth with a lead off walk and a single, and then after a force out a third two consecutive run scoring singles won the game for BC.
