It is with sadness that I report the passing of Mr. Rob Thompson. Not a Pitt grad but a very successful businessman who has been retired for over a decade.
The Altoona native, a Pharmaceutical Executive, lived in Pittsburgh in the 1970's and 1980's and always liked to talk Pitt football with me. Many great Pitt stories from his family at his Memorial Service today.

Heaven gained a Pitt fan !!! RIP Rob.
