Just an unbelievably undisciplined and poor performance from the defense. Dave Wannstedt famously said of the 13-9 game that Pitt missed eight tackles in that game....Pitt was missing 8+ last night in each quarter.
Pitt also couldn't defend anything outside the tackles. It reminded me of 2021 Miami where they threw the same sideline pass 20+ times.
What an absolutely terrible defensive performance last. A performance like that against Notre Dame or FSU will yield 50-60 points from them.
