Pitt NC game????

That game time makes absolutely no sense. They waited this long obviously to take into account potential football games for the teams on that day, and then they schedule the basketball game for a time that if Pitt fans go to the game they won't get home until the second quarter of the football game.
That is a game that was crying out for like an 8:00 start time.

Really a pure put down of Pitt athletics, just a real "in your face" towards the AD.
Thought surely you meant the Pitt National Championship game. With a win tomorrow, I believe it’s Monday evening at 6:30. 😄
I figured they were waiting on the bowl games but I was still pleasantly surprised there was no direct conflict. I am guessing ACCN had its heart set on noon/2/4 games that day because we're at noon, ND/Miami is at 2, and Clemson/NC State is at 4. Our bowl game is at 2. NC State's is at noon, and Clemson's is at 8. Even if we assume that they cant put a game opposite the Orange Bowl at 8, they could have done 2/4/6 games with Pitt/UNC being at 6.
Well that would have been even dumber, because that would have meant that people going to the basketball game would have surely had to have left home in the 4th quarter of the football game or missed the beginning of the basketball game, one or the other.
