Wow. 122 out of 130 teams. Cuse tops out at 117. So maybe the flags will be flying as the bo Jangles refs have their biggest day up north since Gettysburg.
With no ACC blue-blood in the building, both squads might play a miraculously clean game.
Honestly, we've earned most of our flags. I watched the Duke game this weekend after just listening to it live while reading this site's in-game thread. I found most of the "bad" calls against us to actually be not so bad after all.
the only biased refs I ever ran into were the ones that called every one of my sons' games...no matter where we went, they were always out to get us...now that my sons are grown and out of organized sports I now noticed the refs are fair. Sometimes incorrect, by fair.I kinda get a chuckle out of all of the Pitt fans thinking the refs are out to get the northern teams.
It's about as funny as my NCSU friends claiming the same refs are out to get them. Every time they play UNC the same refs are calling bad calls on State to give UNC the victory.
There are too many eye balls on refs to have them throw games one way or the other (if they want to continue to work as refs).
