Great minds think alikeSorry 9NC, I think we made our threads at the same time. Go figure. Mods can merge my thread into this one if they want to.

Recent Panthers I would say James Robinson will make a spectacular coach.I’ll take your word for it.
In response to this thread, there definitely seems to be more Pitt Men in the coaching ranks than at any time I can recall. Would be awesome to see Knight, Greer, or Woodall “blow up” and come home one day if Coach Capel can’t get the job done. Heck, you may be able to put those three together and create one heckuva staff in a few years.
Here’s a question: who’s the current or former Panther from the recent past that the board could most likely see getting into coaching? To me, Jared Wilson-Frame seems like he could be good at it.
I thought of him as well, good choice. Seemed to be a great leader on the court.Recent Panthers I would say James Robinson will make a spectacular coach.
I am excited at the prospect of one of that these coaches coming back to Pitt someday and really elevating the program.
I forgot Ramon was also in coaching; hope he does well at Fordham. Imagine a staff one day with Knight, Woodall, Greer, and Ramon... maybe with Gibbs running things behind the scenes, too? Would be fun. What can I say, I’m a sucker for nostalgia!
Nice article and roundup of Pitt players now coaching
Yes, it makes sense that many would get into coaching.Jaime was an incredible coach who had an eye for intelligent, hard working players.
