1. What is the Pitt sections for the game?
2. Does anyone have 2 extras they are looking to sell?

Might decide to go if we can find something near the non cult fans.

Pretty sure they're in NLU/NKU.

I never go on BWI, but decided to this morning to see what they thought of the Franklin extension. I thought they didn't care about Pitt, yet the very first thread on their board is a 300+ post Pitt bashing thread and some old dude was mocking this very post.

Never doubt the cultists I guess. Is it true they ban just about every Pitt fan there?

Why wouldn't they ban Pitt fans? They aren't a tolerant bunch in Pleasantville. It's only black/blue and white in their world.
We scare them because they can't live in the outside world.
We were supposed to have gone away by now....that's what Der Führer told them would happen as he fiddled in his bunker.

The visitors seats outside NKU and NLU begin at row 85.

The Nitters are getting ready we see " tons" of Nitters all decked out in new Nitter Gear!

Mrs Buffett and I was waiting to tee off at our golf club at the regular time of 7:12 am and looked behind us and there was a Nitter foursome all attired in new stuff. It looked like cr-p on a golf course but who am I to judge golf fashion.

So prior to teeing off and after the round we discussed ( bad mouthed eachothers team) the game.

I think they are going to be seriously disappointed!
But they think they're going to be National Champs.

Here's why I believe they'll lose to PITT and have an 8-4 season and it comes down to two words:
Trace McSorley

The reason the Nitters had the season they had last year was McSorley. This year it will go the other way for him.
He and his father ( once the father gets in the news its the kiss of death) were interviewed on local TV and were in our local fishwrapper. The father was telling everyone how great his son is and will be? Watch out Trace keep daddy out of this one.
McSorley was a 5 and something HS QB who was looking for a place to land and found the Franklin and the Nitters. He's not that good!
Last year he pulled out a ton of games but putting the ball in the air and watching Godwin track it down like a guided missle. Well Godwin's gone and if he isn't replaced many of those third and long passes will end up in the arms of the opponent or incomplete.
The Nitters used up their luck last season now it will be all work so lets see how it ends up? 8-4 for the Nitters!

I think Pitt can give them a game, but with it being on the road and with us having more new starters than them, hard to be as optimistic as I was last year.

But I get what you're saying, McSorley can be iffy. I think some of their games could be sneaky tough (I.e. @ Northwestern, @ Iowa, Nebraska) and they certainly had their fair share of things go their way last year. Could've very easily lost to Minnesota, Wisconsin, OSU, even Indiana gave them a scare.

I'll give them their due if they contend again this year, but I think they'll end up around 9-3 or so.

Pitt gives them a game if Browne plays like the 5* he was supposed to be AND Hendrix and the young front 4 bring pressure like a mutha f'er. If Pitt has to sell out blitzing to bring pressure and leaves the secondary 1on1 or if Pitt can't convert 3rd downs on offense.....then look for PSU to run Pitt out of the stadium. Franklin won't take it easy on Pitt either, he'll run it up because he's a classy guy.

Actually the visitors in the beav sit in every section. They only sell out Ohio State or Michigan and I see tons of red and/or maize/blue everywhere during those games. They haven't sold out a non osu/Michigan game since paterno died. Even games where they sit every other row and give away tickets to soldiers for free. I was able to easily buy season tix to psu this year on the 40 yard line. Not really a tough ticket to get outside of the pitt game for this year

If the dad was interviewed on you r local tv there has to be a link. Could you please provide that or at least give the local station identity? thanks. BTW , i don't know of any fellow psu fans that are talking national championship. I would be happy with 9-3, fantastic with 10-2, and absolutely giddy with 11-1.....12-0 ain't happenin'. at iowa, at northwestern, 3game stretch of michigan, ohio state, and michigan state then a few weeks later nebraska......just ain't happenin'. As far as the pitt game.....there was a reason pitt was a td fav last year just like there is a reason psu is heavily favored this year. In fact it could get real ugly if pitt's D gives up multiple quick scores early and has to abandon the run game .

Fair assessment. I think last year was really a nice surprise for you guys, but in turn it creates more pressure this year because it's really hard to top a big ten title and rose bowl appearance.

We had things working in our favor last year - Conner, a very strong O-line, Peterman, home game. We don't have all that this year, and PSU has a lot of things working in their favor. Pitt will probably need to score 35+ to win and hope McSorley makes some mistakes, which is possible, but with PSU's offense and all our question marks, it'll be tough.

Some people are so tied up in this Pitt-PSU game but ultimately, our focus should be beating VT/Miami/UNC, like your focus is beating OSU/Michigan. I despise PSU more than any other college (WVU is 2nd to me) but have friends that are alums and am always down to have a civil college football talk with any reasonable fan.

That is beyond pathetic when you consider they have 90k+ students and more alumni than anyone.

PSU is heavily favored. Even though there is no love lost between Narduzzi and Franklin and pride is at stake, the pressure is really all on PSU for this game. We shall see - should be a blowout, right?

The interview with the father was summarized in the Lehigh Valley Morning Call newspaper /fishwrapper look it up Nitter!
McSorley's father was talking about how wonderful his son is and many TD's and yards his son will throw for this season. The kiss of death once daddy is pushing the kid. Just like Hackenberg. Oh yea McSorley was a 5 and something HS QB so that should show up soon.

Oh yes I believe Mommy was there also with a change of underwear for Chase!

Cant wait for McSorley to begin to play like Hackenberg (however u spell his name).

Been saying the same thing for years. When you have a student body 3+ times the size of PITT, there really isn't an excuse for not filling that stadium.

I agree.....any pressure will be on psu. I just don't see this game as being a favorable matchup for pitts defense which in turn will hamstring their offense. IMO Pitts linebackers are going to struggle trying to cover gesicki at TE and barkley , sanders coming out of the backfield. If the safeties have to help and leave the cb's in man coverage , psu will take that all day long. The only thing that would make this game better would be to play it the saturday after thanksgiving.

What people forget is how much psu's defense got torched by multiple teams last year

Agree. Last year all they said was "oh wait til we meet, Pitt is not on penn state's level." Now its like they forgot that, claiming they will murder pitt. But they are expected too. Even if they do, it wouldn't be a shock to the football world. And if they claim this every year, well the one year it's true doesn't make them geniuses.

I take it you have never been to a game up there. You go and they root for their team and the tiny minority of Pitt fans root fro theirs just like campuses all across the country... Its not Pyongyang up there.
