I know we only played an FCS school and have lots to prove , but there is at least 5 teams in front of us that I’d feel real confident in Pitt beating them head to head.

What I was really happy to see on Saturday was we finally blew out a team we should have blown out. Too many times we come out for these games in the last 30 years and still look bad. We may win, but normally around the betting line or below. Lots of mistakes and miss opportunities, etc.

Yes, it was the first game against an undermanned team, but we did what we should have done. I am happy with that and I think it is definitely a step in the right direction. Now, if they can beat Syracuse with a comfortable score, my expectations for the season will increase.
