.As always there is always talk about who Pitt "didn't get or won't play here." so I thought it would be interesting to mention articles in both todays trib and post-gazette (links supplied).

I’m Interested in seeing what is said/posted, especially concerning Hudson from McKeesport as there was a posting with a lot of posters stating no PITT interest. Whether we get all or any I think it’s good to see Pitt even in line for so many fabulous 22 players

I agree... I think there is certainly buzz going on. Locally and nationally, the press and honestly, everyone seem to love this guy.

I agree, but it makes me cringe a little. Every time Pitt seems to start inching forward, something lets the air out of the bag.

hudson might not end up coming our way but i hope he does join the rest of the local players who will be coming our way.

I really think if you are a defensive player, AND you are good, and in Pittsburgh... how could you not go play for Narduzzi? He is the best defensive mind out there right now. Pro coaches know it too. We shall see if he can turn around this pathetic thing we called a defense last year, but as of now, if you arent going to Pitt, you arent making a wise choice.

Let's see ... a kid that likes WVU to the extent he was ready to publicly announce committing there ... would acquiesce to Pitt's feelings getting hurt by the announcement ... and put off the announcement???

If a guy digs WVU that much, that, by definition would mean antipathy (or at least, indifference) to Pitt and Pitt's 'feelings'.

So if anything, part of the IMPETUS of announcing a commitment to WVU would come from the HOPE that it would piss Pitt off and make them look bad! And if the kid himself didn't have that objective, WVU's coaches (aka their svengali guy) certainly would, and would definitely be "looking into his eyes" to persuade him to do it.

So, suuurrrre. Don't get me wrong, getting a McK recruit remains highly unlikely for Pitt and WVU is probably the better bet when it eventually is settled. But this particular soap opera plotline is plausible as the usual spewing from WVU fans ...
