Pitt selected top football program in PA by CBS Sports

You can bet that Milk-dud will have this all over the bulletin board and remind his players of it everyday leading up to the game. However, I'm sure it doesn't matter to their fans who say we don't care about Pitt, our rivals are Ohio St. and Michigan. Lol! Don't you have to win once in a while for it to be considered a rival?

Clearly CBS is unaware that Penn State has hired a coach from Fordham who is unequivocally revolutionizing major college football this year and will be lighting up scoreboards like pinball machines.

We are talking Fordham here people. The rest of the college football world doesn't stand a chance. Rumor has it, Nick Saban has been having sleepless nights worrying about how Joe Moorehead will be carving up his D in the National Semi-final. So nervous is ol' St. Nick, he is considering early retirement.

Oh, it's true. I read it on the internet.

Sorry, beat me by minute in putting it up below predicted reactions:

Careful here. Vince Lombardi was from fordham.

CBS knows their new coach put up 40 on Army while out new coach put up 40 on Clemson. Plus they tip well.

Let's just say that Joe The Magnificent is happy Penn State is warming up against Kent St and not 'Nova like Pitt is. Last year, the Wildcats held the unstoppable force offense to 7 points. And 6 the year before.

You guys are always comparing apples to Oranges! What does last years Nova score have to do with this year? It's the same when PSU fans get on you guys about last years Navy score,it doesn't have a thing to do with this year.Different year, different players, different coaches and hopefully different outcomes in some situations.

UPS as the #3 team in PA sounds about right. If you look at it logically and objectively as an outsider, both Pitt and Temple should beat UPS.

Bro, you need to clean out your sarcasm sensor.

Uh, Navy was pretty good last year. Probably the best Navy team I may see in my lifetime. You guys needed a defensive stand to hold off Army with a backup quarterback. Had Navy played the nits last year they would have ran all over them as well.

As far as Nova goes I think the poster was making a reference to them shutting down the powerhouse known in Centre County as the Joe Morehead offense. You know, the offense that will end up getting Brent Pry fired at the end of the year. The one that kills their own defense as much as the opposing defense. That one.

At least the Pa debate will be settled on the field,no such luck in WVa.I really don't think Marshall would beat WVU even if it was played in Huntington!
Well, does that mean Pitt beating Marshall can claim WV too?
West Virginia: Marshall -- WVU is a good team, don't get us wrong, but it's hard to argue with Marshall's success under Doc Holliday, particularly the last few years. He and the Herd have amassed a 33-8 record with a 10-3 mark in 2015. Meanwhile, Dana Holgorsen and the Mountaineers are 36-28 since his arrival with a 8-5 record one season ago. The Herd are Thundering through the state right now.
Looks like CoachRod has overcome Coach GraHAM in Arizona too?

Arizona: Arizona -- It's a weird time for the Arizona schools as both took steps back in 2015 finishing in the bottom half of the Pac-12 South. The Sun Devils beat the Wildcats pretty handily to close out the year but there are a lot of questions in Tempe coming into the year especially on offense where they must replace their quarterback and three of the top four receivers from a year ago. We're taking the Wildcats going into 2016 because of the experience they have with Anu Solomon at quarterback and the very talented Nick Wilson at running back ... with the caveat that both have proven to be injury prone.

Yet, they acually believe they have more talent than Pitt this year because some scrub of a ex coach from the big10 said so lol.

Captain,Marshall would not beat WVU this year no matter where they played.Hey I like Doc but look who he has beat the last couple of years, noone!Just like Marshall won't beat Pitt this year or any year in my opinion.Holgy will keep his job because the Big12 is down and he's going to beat both Missouri at home and BYU in DC and go 8-4.If he goes 7-5 good-by and good luck selling that hugh house you built!!!

They did have Morehead, but I think they will show just the tip this year.

I know, just giving friendly Banter back on them and PSU and they are welcomed to give it back as they do on their Boards or here. I actually think WVU has the bets Team in 2016 over Pitt & Penn state, but beating OU, OKSU, Baylor, TCU, KSU, and Texas won't be easy. We can compare how Pitt plays OKSU and then WVU too.

I advocate Pitt should play PSU every year and WVU too with ND?

Doc was a finalists for WVU and Pitt jobs a few years back, he bleeds WVU Dark Blue & Yellow, but will take Pitt Blue & Gold any day as becoming a Head Coach.

I see Marshall still being a serious game. My Ranking Pitt SOS:
1. Clemson
2. UNC
2. OKSU
4. Miami
4. Georgia Tech
4. Penn State
7. Virginia Tech
7. Virginia
7. Duke
10. Cuse
10. Marshall
12. Villanova

If he goes 8-4 and CoachRod still does not want to come back, I agree. But Big WVU Boosters tell me when CoachRod wants back, they will pay for it, by Buying Out Dana and CoachRod at UA! If Houston loses Herman and gets into the Big-12, I can see Dana being back in Texas even if Dana goes 9-3 or 10-2? Just a Hunch!

If he goes 7-5 good-by and good luck selling that hugh house you built!!!
Dana never cared about houses to live in, he bought it as an Invetsment! You do know Dana lived a Motel for Months and never even cashed his Paychecks for months more, he deeply cares, loves, and lives for a CFB and works hard at it and plays hard after the game. Dana is a Born Wild Cat Oil Man that is CFB Coach even though not born in PA or TX.

Pitt wanted Dana too, but we got stuck with GraHAM the Ham due to an AD that thought he was a Coach too, but was Mediocre AD with just a bigger Ego, that needed Two Buyouts to leave, and worth every penny to rid him from his Alma Mater and Pitt too and uneployable!

Unlike Dana that will always have a coaching job somewhere. Oliver Luck was smart and saved WVU when the ACC was too dumb to take WVU, RU, and ULou and in 2010 instead of just Pitt & Cuse as well as keeping Maryland too?

I love playing and going to WVU Games better than anyother games.

Funny, WVU no longer wants to Play Marshall, so Pitt does it. PSU did not want to play Pitt until after Paterno fired and died, now Pitt prefers not play WVU, and ACC won't allow ND to play Pitt and BC more even though all of our Programs have great Traditions and the fans love playing each other.

Maybe someday soon, maybe better Minds that claim to develop Educational Minds, will mature into seeing we are all better playing together!

WVU, PSU, PITT should play every year & Marshall with WVU too, with ND in between all of us in various years!

It is a pretty safe bet we have no skate games this year. Our depth will be key as these will be tough games and probably will go through some depth chart.

Im just holding my breath hoping we keep guys on the field. Every single year we get major injuries in training camp or early in the season and are left with a slightly different team. This year it seems we have nice depth, but that depth is also very young depth.
