You can’t necessarily do what worked against a 3-4 defense against a 4-3. And, UVAs LBs were mediocre — and that might be kind. They also brought a Safety up a lot so they had 8 in the box, but the Safety didn’t want to get too involved in the action, to put it charitably.

He disappeared in the 2d half. I don't know if he was injured or what. He was a force in the 1st half, but their other LBs were dreck. Of course, Duke had good LBs and we still ran all over them.
