First time Dixon has done that. Apparently because the first game is against Gonzaga, so you'd like to have a better test than the exhibitions going into that game. This was per Zeise in the PG.
I think it's a good idea, can't possibly hurt. Id imagine there will be leaks as to who we played, how players did etc.
There has been SO MUCH recruiting talk, and the majority not so good, so I am really looking forward to games starting. We have a weird group this year. A LOT of returning minutes and scoring, but also a lot of new guys who will be counted on. I'm very intrigued by two players in particular, Nelson-Adoda and Damon Wilson (and Cam Johnson who barely played last year). I think of the newcomers this year, if I had to bet, that these two will be the biggest contributors. I think our C position will be dramatically improved. SG is the other unknown position, but I expect Chris jones to take the spot and run with it.
