First time I saw anything about possible New Pitt OC Candidates, but how realistic I will leave it up to the better Experts on the Lair! I don't have a clue and have not heard anything from anyone? Even these Candidates is a list that fans should want as OC based on the author article:

If we go after an employed OC why not Rudolph? He did a really good job here last year, our offense actually moved the ball and scored points, make him an offer he don't refuse

Rutgers, Penn State, Maryland, and Cuse going to the spread next year. I believe Texas and Miami converted recently.

Thanks for the Info, how is the Coaching Staff shaping up under Ash? If Ash can just keep 50% of the New Jersey High School Talent Recruits, Rutgers can do just as great as Schiano did, in my opinion!

Flood was the worst recruiter ever and really hurt Rutgers for the next 2-3 years. We pretty much was shut out of the Top 15 Nj recruits ever since Flood was promoted to HC. Ash has to do better even though his coaches are from the Mid West and Texas. Fans are complaining about Ash not starting immediately but if he's the right one I can wait. Our OC was the protege of Tom Herman in Houston, Tom brought him along to his 4-5 teams that Tom coached.

My concern is even if we get much better, the TOP 4 teams in the Big Ten East Ohio State, Michigan, Mich State and Penn State are getting better. They all are in the top 15 recruiting classes. I see Maryland is about to get their 6-8 th 4 star recruits and they will be in Top 25 recruiting class. I wish they didn't put most of the best teams in the Big Ten East. My hope is we can beat Penn State two or three years and upsetting Michigan State, Mich or Ohio State every couple of years.

I hope you beat Penn a State whenever you play them and good luck in the future.

As a Marshall guy, you don't want Legg. Simplistic offense that only works when you can out talent an opponent. Most Marshall fans want him gone.

I recall Schiano brought in New Jersey Assistants on his Staff that united NJ North & South High School Coaches that often sent Recruit outside the State?

A very smart coach told me once, Games are won by 4 to 5 plays by 2 to3 Players making the difference in those games?
