Pitt looks to make it 3 in a row against the Tarheels. It would be pretty impressive to have win streaks against UNC and Duke from a historical perspective.

This game tonight worries me as it is a bad matchup for Pitt. Kessler (7'1) and Bacot (6'10") are legit next level Bigs and Brooks(6'10") is a really good ACC level Big and we have AKC and Brown as our only true bigs who are both prone to foul trouble. I can see us coming out playing a lot of Zone to start to negate that post presence but opens us up to giving up a lot of offensive rebounds.

Hoping we can show up and be competitive but don't have a good feeling on this one. Would love to see us press and drop into our zone to shorten the clock on them in the half court and force RJ and Caleb Love to beat us from the outside. As a team they are only shooting 31% from 3.

Their strengths are our weaknesses
I hope we Keep it close

I think we’ll be in a decent spot if Kessler plays a bunch. I think he’s easily their fourth best big. Bacot and Brooks are obviously big concerns.

This^^ and AKC has to stay out of fouls trouble.

I worry that after Pitt took two from them last year, they are going to properly focused to beat them them this year.

I think Capel would be wise tonight to insert Collier into obvious defensive situations where he can yank him back out relatively quickly. Save AKC and TB some inevitable hacks.

I think they may have to play him, but if they do don't be surprised if he gets demolished.

They also have 6’11’’ FR Day’Ron Sharpe from Monteverde Academy. He’s been playing a lot more than Kessler. The Carolina front court is huge.

This will be a VERY tough game for Pitt. UNC‘s young guys are coming around.

Everything in the paint. Can UNC 2 us to death?

We just lost to a team that made 15 3s. Now we get UNC who will live in the paint. Then its ND and 3s again.

As much fun as they’ve been to watch most of the year this game is incredibly frustrating to watch so for T Brown is a nice kid but has zero hoops instincts losing Hugly is huge. Too much standing around on both ends and no energy

Brown is SAWFT! Nobody driving hard to the hoop. UNC getting away with hand checking/ holding but instead of being aggressive we are allowing them to get away with it!

No boxing out. X to out of control, he’s a Junior! Nobody boxing out! Worse game of the year after Saint Francis!

fitting end of the half. Gave up another offensive rebound just zero energy. Hopefully Capel rips into them and lights a fire under them
