..I need to take this moment to mention a month or so ago I posted that pitt will run the table up to the UNC game..I have to take it when I can due to the fact I have two teenage daughters who give me credit only for handing over the visa at Hollister! For the first time in many many years its good to be a pitt fan
I would not be surprised moving forward to see Boyd in a wildcat package for a series or two. I cant think of a player more suited for that.
Talent wise our D is very average.. PN is getting every drop out of the talent at hand.. That is the definition of good coaching.. Kudos to Conklin, Harley, etc..Pitt will continue to see Maddox getting picked on with taller receivers.
UNC will have more talent on the field than Pitt.. Frankly, it isnt that close. However, UNC is much less disciplined and prone to mistakes.. Turnovers will be key as well as stopping Hood.. I like Pitt here in another close game..
Once the fake punt took place Syracuse basically folded.. The field could have been 200 yards long and they weren't going to stop Ollison.. That is the difference is creating a winning culture. Pitt knew they would win and the Cuse thought they might.. That is what is so impressive about PN.. Think about what these players have been through. all the turmoil, close losses, etc .. and in seven games the outlook has changed completely.. Kudos to everyone and it all began with the chancellor making a great hire..
