Win 15-13, 3 sets to 2, but least impressive performance I’ve seen this year.
Seemed intimidated by GT’s blocking. Freshman setter was having a bad match and got pulled. Played last half of set 3 and most of set 4 without a setter. She came back in, then got a large gash on her chin but finished the match. It seemed as if she was tipping where she was going to set the ball and GT always had two blockers on the hitter. Pitt started dinking the ball instead of going for the smash.

Wow that one was intense. Sometimes you need those tough ones to wake you up.
Match was the most stressful since ups. GT might be the next up and comer in the acc and i hope they are. Acc needs better teams. Wish it didn't take 5 games but i hope it proves to be an eye opener for pitt. Introduced my wife to vball and we cant wait to see pitt at duke next Saturday. Go P I T T! We
The truth is that was by far the worst pitt played this year. The timing was off all game . Gt was a fast team with really great outside hitter. Lexis was a freshman today for the 1st time this year...her sets were off all night to low to high. We missed more spikes then i ever seen from this team but they won and they will learn from that .
Why was that point replayed?
I was going to say that too.Even not playing their best they still found a way.And they needed a wake up call to an extent.Just glad it was still a W and not an L.

BTW - my wife and I sit near the band and really enjoyed the teams post-game celebration as they danced joyously to the bands music after the match - was a fun (albeit somewhat stressful) evening.

Hey, my Mom had a five way bypass.No matter how many they are it isn't good.But if you stick to the plan from your doc you'll do ok.That was a wake up call that as a fan who had a double bypass last year I could have done without
