Indiana isn’t parking the bus. They are all in with getting it to #17 and letting him go. They are also putting significant pressure on our back line when trying to play out the back.
👆👆👆This is exactly right. Indiana has dominated this game from the very start. They know the weakness of our team is the back 4 and they are pressing then every time the touch the ball. Gilman is our best fullback and the first 3 times he touched the ball they pressed him and he lost it. That set the tone.Indiana isn’t parking the bus. Crappy end to a crappy half. You do not give up a soft goal like that with 17 seconds left.
Good season, but not a good way to go out.
Great season boys. Wish it would have ended better but still a ton of fun.
They were as annoying as those drum beaters who go all game. And love when they chant I believe that we will win. Such creativity and tradition.Wasn’t a big fan of the Indiana band constantly playing during the game
Is it getting "Big Tenned" if Pitt losses in VB today, or just a case of games at this stage being really really hard?I expect to get "Big Tenned" today too in Volleyball. The Big 10 is Pitt's kryptonite.
Anyways....here is my expert soccer analysis. Anytime I turned on the game, I saw more red jerseys near the action than I did blue. There. Make of that what you will.
Agree. The red jerseys were just swarming around Pitt ballhandlers, and there were no or very tight passing lanes. It took Pitt too long to adjust, and then gave up 2 lame goals on top of it. The hole they dug themselves was just too deep.I expect to get "Big Tenned" today too in Volleyball. The Big 10 is Pitt's kryptonite.

Still......you got to beat the best to be the best at some point. Right? It is not unheard of. For example, Pitt beat #1 Kentucky. Kentucky is not the Big 10.Not only that, but last night we were the unseeded team playing the seeded team, and tonight we will be the two seed playing on the home court of the one seed.

Just saying Joe. Big 10 is our kryptonite. So if we beat a number one seeded Big Ten team and then lost to a number 13 seed SEC team that would somehow be better?
You are absolutely right, at some point you are going to have to beat some really good teams to win the championship. And there are almost always really good teams in the Big Ten in nearly every sport. Just like there are really good teams in the ACC. There isn't anything special about Big Ten teams, just as there isn't anything special about ACC teams or SEC teams or PAC12 teams. If you want to win you have to beat good teams, and those come from all over the place.
I gotta agree, recruits. Too many recent losses to BiG teams in meaningful games.Just saying Joe. Big 10 is our kryptonite.
Yeah. 2 years ago we were better than Indiana.I gotta agree, recruits. Too many recent losses to BiG teams in meaningful games.
I hope the ladies can reverse this with a win in Madison tonight.
Our soccer team looked lost and overmatched last night.
H2P!
