The question is if there's conclusive evidence to overturn that. I saw nothing that showed with certainty that the ball was on his fingertips when the red light went off. It may have been, but it was impossible to tell. Therefore, call on floor shouldn't have been reversed.
Made even better by the fact that he turned down the three to take a shot with one foot on the line and the other behind it. The worst shot in basketball.

having Gueye at the high wing of the zone is a recipe for disaster - forget his fouls - they are going to either get a layup or an open 3 every damned time .
This is by far our worst defensive effort in awhile
Our zone defense, whether it's this extended 2-3 that we are playing today that works more like a 4-1 or that 1-3-1 that we were playing the other day are simply god awful. We are so worried about defending the three that we leave guys wide open in the mid-range and we get running around the perimeter so much that we don't actually do a good job guarding the three point line either.

I agree and you certainly can't have more than 1 of Jeffress, Ezeakudo, Oladapo, and Payton in at the same time. You can't have 40% of your lineup be NEC players.
Which is really odd, because up until this thread no one has had any issue at all with our coaching all season long, right?

Every year you are going to have transfers and/or injuries. We are about to be 7-12. We are nowhere close to making the NCAA tournament next year.
You keep acting like Capel should be back. The coaching sucks. The players we have mostly suck. How on earth is this man deserving of a 5th season here?

Lyke needs to hire Niko Medved. If he can bring a few of his guys from Colorado St (specifically Roddy), then our rebuild will be expedited quite a bit.
Jeffress continues to be baffling offensively. He doesn’t want the shot yet he plays 20 ft from the hoop. This completely negates the double team on Hughley because he is no threat. He positions like a shooter but can’t shoot. He has no offensive value at this point and plays way too many minutes
The people who don't understand the efficiency argument about Hugley ought to be paying attention to this game. Hugley has 15 points on 11 shots. Hall has 16 points on 5 shots.
One of those is just a little better than the other.
