He should feel like shit, he’s an absolute embarrassment to this city and hoops program. Yet, after the game we will hear the same weird, tired excuses as to why his team is this embarrassing in year 4 of his tenure

Yea - there is no doubt he was hoping Pitt would be his stepping stone to the Duke job. He failed his mission.
Pitt is 284th in 3 point FG defense. We refuse to guard 3 point shooters.

3 former head coaches on staff and Jeffress still cant hit a jumper. Where is the player development?

He always refers to him as a Durant like player - just not as good
I can see him getting a chance with his length , shot blocking and shooting as a free agent
The coaches could tell Jeffress in order to make the shot it has to get above the rim.
Much more legit than Pastner saying Capel could be the ACC coach of the year.
That's what coaches are there for, to help the players improve. Has Jeffress improved in your eyes? He looks like the same player he was when he got here. MAYBE WORSE.
i couldn’t tell if it was an air ball or hit something. Not sure how you can be highly regarded to play basketball, and then can’t shoot a basketball

You definitely can improve your jump shot by adjusting your form and repetition.
Think you need to clarify - at this level. Coaches can indeed help shooters with feet placement while receiving the pass before shooting. Finger placement, wrist, follow thru, spin, rotation, eye/aim(exactly what are you looking at when firing)is all coachable and happens early in a player’s life. But yeah, he’s not a kid anymore.

At this level- your shooting stroke is ingrained .
And all the coaching won’t change that in game when they revert to habit
