Speaking for soccer, their success is due mostly to recruiting. Vidovich is a good coach and all but he's landing big-time foreign talent. He has connections throughout the world.

I'm not saying Pitt should apologize. Of course, you need great coaching + great recruiting to get to National Championship levels. Just saying though Vidovich is a great at coaching, they would not be where they are if not for great recruiting. You can say the same about Alabama and Clemson football.
