I’ve pretty consistent about that.
Kene is limited but plays with effort .
I prefer him over brown.
Case in point, when kene came out, brown immediately let a guy blow by him for an easy layup.
He generally makes the most of his abilities, and it's hard for me to criticize that. The same can't be said of his partner in the post.
Would really love for them to win this game for JWF. Kid is playing his heart out
Wonder if Capel realizes that about 1/4 of the calls that go against him weren't called when his team was Duke.
This team just makes too many bad plays at key moments. 4 seconds on shot clock and Miami gets an easy basket out of TO. Toney with a completely out of control drive and offensive foul.
Yea it’s just the same crap at the end of all of these games. Bad turnovers, terrible shot selection and terrible defense. Pitt has gotten outscored now 18-10 since they made it 54-53.
I don’t know what you were watching? Lykes was literally hopping around sliding underneath Toney. It was a terrible call.
One more chance to win a game on Saturday against the Irish in the game everybody thinks Pitt has the best chance to win. I just don’t see how this team wins another game this season they just do not do enough things well late in these games that are close to convince me they are good enough to beat even a bad team like Notre Dame at home.

Pitt has now somehow failed to cover 13 games in a row. That’s really, really hard to do.
McGowens has just been a disaster since he had the good games against Louisville and Florida State. Capel better hope this kid toughens up and starts fighting through these tough times because there is no excuse for him to be this bad again next season for 10 plus games.
I never would have thought as good as this team looked in Iowa losing by a point at the buzzer and then beating a decent St Louis team in November and then getting the wins early on against Louisville and FSU that this team would have lost 13 games in a row and lost every single one of these road games against bad teams like Wake, BC, Georgia Tech and Miami. Pitt should have won at least one of these games. It’s very discouraging that they didn’t.
Yeah, missed FTs and all, no confidence, all the losing has gotten into their heads. However, with decent bigs who can score inside even when guarded this would be a team that would have won enough more games to have remained confident. Hopefully, Coulibaly is a good recruiting start and another couple of decent bigs if Capel can find them who are better than Brown and Chukwuka can make a significant difference next year.
Seem like Iowa wins a boatload of games at the buzzer. Unless of course, King Kong puts a stop to it.

It’s not the refs and it’s not the coaching it’s the lack of talent on a roster that has 4 ACC level players on it .
If those 4 players were seniors you might be able to get by , but with 3 of the 4 being freshman it just won’t cut it .
Reality ...Dukes healthy freshman are far superior to Pitts and without Superman they barely beat Wake tonight .
A solid roster with a mix of upperclassmen , sprinkled with talented freshman and a grad transfer is a few yrs away . We need to stay patient .

He is and I hate to be so critical but he just looks like he's half awake all the time. He plays with no emotion or intensity and just looks to be in a daze all the time.
