Good matchup against a legit P5 opponent, better than expected. I like it.
Their RB will remind you of James Conner. Like Pitt’s chances of shutting down their strength. Not sure if their QB will play. Who knows who gets on the teams’ respective planes. Lol.

Can not go, but may make a donation. Feel like an 8-4 Pitt in the past would have gotten some no name bowl. Getting a historic bowl on a national channel is possibly at least something to take pride in for this team.
My wife’s parents are both UCLA grads. This should be fun. Trash-talking may actually get me bonus points since my wife likes Pitt!

Figures Pitt would get a Bowl game against a branch campus team
The hoops team is playing UNC on 12/30, possibly at the same time. I think that would be more interesting and meaningful than an exhibition football game with many starters not playing. Who knows though. They might push the basketball game to a night game.

I was just thinking there isn't a game the ACC can't win on there, but impossible to say these days when opt-outs are factored in. Betting on non-playoff Bowl games is a mistake.
